I am a 57-year-old male who has played competitive sports for most of my life. Approaching 50 I started having back issues with bulging discs sciatica, and eventually a herniated disc. For anyone who knows of this injury, it can be excruciatingly painful to the point where I had to stop playing all sports And doing any exercise again for anyone who has gone through this, it can be quite depressing. I tried everything from Physio chiropractor medication’s nothing worked and was told I would require surgery. The last effort was to stop everything for a few months to let the inflammation go down and the allow the disc to dry up and at that point I was told to give Yoga a try, but to ease into it very slowly. That did take a while, but I did start to see some noticeable improvements as I got better Yoga I got to realize that some of the instructors could make all the difference. The Yoga itself began to work very well and then I had the greatest pleasure of meeting Helen Her expertise in exercise and yoga, and her knowledge in muscles in the body are incredible. Her yoga sculpt is now part of my exercise regimen. It has improved my core and balance so much so that I am back playing hockey and soccer 3 to 4 times a week. And my performance has improved so much. I am playing like I was 20 years ago. I cannot say enough about how much Helen has been able to help my overall health strength and balance. I cannot recommend Helen enough to anyone who wants to improve themselves in any way, she is a pleasure and a joy to workout with, I thank you Helen
